Calcium magnesium phytate is white or white powder, odorless, tasteless, insoluble in water, insoluble in anhydrous ethanol, ethyl ether, benzene, chloroform and other organic solvents, easily soluble in inorganic acid.

 

Application

Phytin is used in the pharmaceutical industry to produce inositol, which has a wide range of medicinal uses (see Uses of inositol).

In the fermentation industry, it can replace phosphate as the breeding agent of alcohol yeast culture, so that the ethanol component increases, and the taste becomes more aromatic alcohol. In the food industry, the use of calcium and magnesium phytate solution hot hot disinfection storage tank, can prevent the lid rust, play a preservative role. The metal surface can be easily electroplated after being treated with calcium phytate solution, and it can be used for refining high-purity soybean oil in oil industry. Calcium phytate can be used in the pharmaceutical industry after refining, and formulated into internal medicine, promote the metabolism of the human body, restore the balance of phosphorus in the body, and have the effect of brain.
